O.M.G. I beat my record yet again. After tomorrow these two weeks of hell will be OVER. YES. So, being the procrastinator that I am, I left 90% of my MAJOR History Project until the last evening. And here I am still typing at 4:12am. I can't even hold up my head properly because I'm so tired. Lol, too bad this time I'm not hyper.

I was relying on my printer completely, and it failed me. The first evening using it, it got "jammed" and effed up. So I woke up my Dad and he drove to his work (35 minutes away) to print off all this crap about religion for me. Now I'm awaiting his return so I can spend another half an hours or more putting it all together. Fun. Not. -.-';

I am SO tired...x.x

Because it's going to be Fall Break, all my teachers from all my subjects has been piling up unfnished work on us to get out of the way before Fall Break. That's why my already high homework load has SKYROCKETED to the inifinity limit. And also why I've been staying up past midnight for the past like 3 weeks.

And Sam says she "has no homework lately"....<.<

Long time no update.

Over the last week I've developed physically pain on my left foot, hips, back, etc. I'm becoming old!!! Well actually I'm pretty sure the pain on my foot is due to bone breakage in the summer of grade 7. Youch.

Over the last two weeks the earliest I've gone to bed is around midnight. My record is around 3:30am. Needless to say, it's all due to HOMEWORK. Hate it. Although thankfully I'm becoming accustomed to it by now. This weekend, I've made up for the loss of sleep. I slept for 2.5 HOURS as an afternoon nap today, which for me, is an all-time record. ^^

My English teacher marks SO hard. She makes Mrs. Davidson seem like a puff of pink marshmellow. No joke. Plus she does SO MUCH grammar. -.-'; Besides Mrs. Davidson wasn't that bad now that I think about it. She was really nice.

Lots of things has been going on in my life, which I presume will be weird if I post them. Meh.

My half-sister is sick.

My Dad won't let me drive. I'm legally old enough *cough* to start learning now, but he says I'm too young. That really makes me mad. I've tried persuading him but he won't even discuss it. It really really makes me MAD.

Fruits Basket!! Betty was right. FB was at first VERY BORING. According to Savannah and Sarah though, it gets way more interesting after Vol.5. Wrong. It gets interesting after Vol.8. Vol.9 was better, Vol.10 was like *WoW* and Vol.11 was awesome. So unless you can stick by something boring without ditching it, then go for it. Or you can find the basic plot and start reading Vol.9 right away. =P

I really want to go back to Ottawa/Wiscosin/China and just...HAVE A BLAST.

Now on a more happy note, there was no school on Friday!! Whee~! Next Friday it's an early release day!! Whee~! Next next week it's Fall Break!! Whee~! Time to do some shopping finally.

School still sucks, although it's getting a LOT better. First week was hell. On the first day of school, after staying at school for the first 5 minutes not even, I thought "Wow, can not wait until the weekend."
I've met some non-preppy people, mostly in my Algebra class. *pat myself on the back*

I've met some very nice people and made some friends, none of whom I am particularly close to yet. Ah well. I hardly have any time to worry about my social life nowadays.

My daily boring exhausting routine Monday-Friday: get up at 7am, ride the bus for 50 minutes, work at school, eat, more work at school, ride the bus in the sweltering heat, arrive home at 6pm, relax for 2 seconds, and work until 11pm. And guess what dominates my weekends?? Work.

Needless to say, I have NO time to update, or do anything else. No TV. No computer, not even reading.

Now I'll shut up about school.

On Thursday night I had to work unti 2:30am! -_-; That's not even 5 hours of sleep man.

Three weeks ago I jammed my finger. To this day it still hurts.

Now to more positive notes, I am moving in a week!!!!! ^_^ No more busing for 100 minutes everyday. Ahhah.

Well what can I say. School sucks like _______. Everyday I am forced to get up at 7am, which isn't that bad I guess. I have endured one week of taking the bus to school, and still has two weeks left before I move into the house.

I arrive at school at 8:40 and everyone is forced to remain downstairs until 8:55am. That is the most stupid rule I have ever heard of. So I have 15 minutes to socialize in the cafeteria, or as they call it, cafetoriUM. o.O

Then we go to our first class, then second, then third, etc. No homeroom. We eat lunch, (the line is like a ray. It starts and never ends. Geometric reference. My head is buzzing with math right now) then after 20 minutes, we have study hall, which is basically 20 minutes to sit there silently and do whatever we desire. Homework, music, sleep, w/e. After the 7th class ends, I run to my locker, (half the size of the Canadian ones. You'd think they'd have BIGGER lockers eh??) grab my 10-pound textbooks, stuff them in my bag, and race down to the bus stop. I get home from 5:00-5:15pm so that only gives me around 50 minutes of free time before my stepmom and halfsister gets home! Nooo...!

Unlike Ottawa, we barely have any time to socialize here. We don't even have recess. We have a 20-min lunch break, and that's it. Phooey. =(

Now I shall complain about the homework. The homework load here is unbearable. I have SO SO SO much homework. This is the sole aspect that makes school wretched. The first day of school was alright. The second day, twice the amount of homework. The third day, I got a World History Project, a Biology research assignment, 8 sheets of math homework and a Biology quiz,(which thank goodness I aced. =D). And omg, I won't even list my homework for the weekend. The list would simply go on forever. Let's just say I had to carry a 25-pound backpack home, and are now faced with 5 textbooks for the next two days.

One good thing here is that we have lockers in the change rooms! Yay. Don't have to lug around my gym bag anymore. ^^

So much homework!! I guess that's partly due to the fact that I'm taking 6 Honors classes. >.> 

World History is definitely the worst subject of all times. Argh.

I realize I'm complaining a lot, but one more thing. With no exaggeration included whatsoever, 90% of the people here are all really really preppy! Omg...

The cheerleaders all parade around the school in their cheerleading outfits and act like they're better than everyone else. Their attitudes sickens me. In the halls, there are always girls screaming about their problems and flirting with the jocks. And there is always one person who is swearing on top of their lungs. That's usually a guy though.

Oh yeah, the first day of school, the bus arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled and needless to say, I missed it. And then this really nice police officer came up to me and started a conversation. We chatted for about 20 minutes and I told him I was going to be late for the first day of school. Then he offered to give me a ride!!! I was like "Thank you heaven!". So we walked to the parking lot toward a red van and I pointed and asked "Is that your car?" He goes "No, it's that one," and pointed to a police car!! I was like O.O. I've always wanted to ride in the front seat of a police car. So we got in, and he drove me to school. Thankfully the sirens weren't activated or else people might have thought I was a criminal...in the front seat. Hmm...ah well.

Conclusion, TGIF~!!!!

I'm not so sure I will survive the second week.

I have been so Internet deprived for the past 2 days!!!! *Sigh*

Two days ago, I was sitting at the dinner table, allowing my Dad to see that I was doing academic work. My stepmom said she needed our help with peeling shrimp. My Dad unwillingly left the laptop and I reluctantly left my notebook. We proceeded to the counter and started to peel the good-for-nothing shrimp. After a short while, my wrist starts to itch. A big round red bump had risen, and it was developing a solid, invisible shell. O_____________O I tried to ignore it, but it only got worse. Halfway through peeling, the area of my arm which the shrimp-tainted water ran down started to also itch! Badly. I stopped what I was doing and swore at the dead, half-frozen shrimp. Two short minutes later, white, hard, extremely itchy spots were appearing on my shrimp-water soaked hands and fingers. Now, after two days, my hands and arms are still a bit itchy. Thanks to the freaking shrimp. Like, wtf.

I didn't know I was that sensitive to shrimp. But I have gotten allergies from it and other seafoods on two previous occasions. I will never eat, smell, look at or get within a 3 meter boundary of shrimp ever again. Just when I was going to change my mind about shrimp, it comes back and cause me hell(basically bites me in the ass).

I finally got the 6th Harry Potter book!! =D But I have reached a semi-crisis. =(

Ya see, in my class, Mr. Zellner (English teacher) ordered "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens for everyone. The book is not that long, thank God, but it is undeniably boring. I am forced to read another 120 pages by tomorrow morning. ZZZZzzzz....ZZZzzzz...zzzz...I think you are beginning of see my problem.

I was going to order the HP book online for $17.99 since it is cheaper that way, and would arrive only after I finish "A Tale of Two Cities". HOWEVER, my stepmom saw it yesterday for $15.00!!! She bought it and I have been buried in it since. I am on page 163, which is further than where I'm at in the Charles Dickens book! Ahhhh...what do I do??!! I don't want to fail English! And I really should be prudent about all this. But I can not manage to focus in the Charles Dickens book.

School is starting in 3 weeks for me. I have been here in Dallas for 3 weeks. Great..

I will now return to my HP reading which will take my mind off my itchy hands.

Today I finally sort of got through to my classmates!!! We all sat around chatting with the substitute teacher about how some girls can be very "annoying" to their boyfriends. It's peculiar how we got on to that topic...hmm...

Anyway, the conversation was fun and got us all laughing.

We had a second SAT math pre-test and like last time...I got the highest mark in my class again. Caught me slightly by surprise...>.> I'm sure that none of them are younger than me..o.O Maybe their math education isn't all that advanced? ^^;

Man, it sucks here. I'm just saying that because I just moved here. But it would help a lot if I knew someone here.

I started going to a course here. Bad thing is, I have to bus there and back. First time was disastrous. I thought I got lost, and called my dad, only to be informed that I was 5 minutes away from my house! Lol. Now it's alright. It only takes around 45 minutes to bus now. =D

My class has a total of 6 people, including me. There are 4 guys and only two girls. But they're all...let's just say unsociable. We took a practice SAT test (only math) and surprisingly, I got the highest mark among my classmates!! =P That doesn't make much sense since their math educational program is supposedly more advanced than Canada's.

Oh my gosh, Hymn just informed me half an hour ago that Lily is visiting Ottawa in July and they're all going to see a movie together and hang out!!! =( And I'll be stuck in Dallas, missing all the fun...I feel so secluded. *sniff* Man, what I would do to go back to Ottawa for this summer...

I miss all you Ottawaians so much~!!!

For some reason, I'm not feeling like myself today. I'm feeling homesick...but that isn't a suitable term since home is no longer Ottawa. I miss the cold harsh Ottawa winters. Lol, I guess everybody kind of does. Great..

I need to watch something funny. I should get Rat Race. I laughed my head off the first two times I watched it. Remember Lily?? :)

NOTE: HP6 (Harry Potter) comes out on July 15th!! I have to buy the book. Besides that would give me something exciting to do. Harry Potter is one of those books where I subconsciously shut out my surroundings while reading it. It's a great feeling. I should feel like that more often. I wouldn't have to face the usual melancholy and isolated feeling that has been present deep inside lately.
